When Mother Nature Hands you Vines, Make Wreaths

Yes, I finally found the perfect solution to my invasive vine problem. I identified the vine as Chinese wisteria. I now get satisfaction out of cutting out the vines, because I can turn something ugly and out of control, into something controlled and festive. Happy Holidays!

Beautiful wreath! And I love the one you made for my birthday as well.
Next craft, vine baskets? I have some basket-weaving links if you're interested. If not, can I get some vines so I can try? Looks like fun.

I don't know if I could make baskets out of them. I guess it depends how thick of vines you need and how much you have to bend them. The smaller ones tend to break easier. Hey, when are you going to become a follower of my blog? I could send you vines but you'd have to use them pretty soon because they get harder to bend when they dry out. Problem is, when the wreaths dry, they shrink and don't look as good.

Hmm. I thought I was a follower. It says I am. Apparently, I don't know how to do it though.
