First Snow

I'm a little late posting this. This was taken on Jan. 27, our only snow so far, which amounted to a couple inches.

Dear Jayla! I was doing research on daylight sitings of raccoons, and I came upon your Blog. I have always been an avid Gardner, so when we built our new home, we were lucky to build it on a piece of a very old arboretum. Fast-forward eight years, and we have also created an incredible Backyard Forest! We also have deer, chipmunks, bunnies, red foxes, a skunk (which never stinks us) a family of raccoons, two red foxes, and a handsome Buck! Along with all of our Forest Friends, we have thee most amazing species of birds that I have ever seen. Blue Jays, Cardinals, Morning Doves, Robins, Woodpeckers, Finches, Sparrows, and so many more. Every morning, I lay out a long and winding trail of wild birdseed. Everyone loves it! The birds, the bunnies, the squirrels, the deer and the chipmunks. Our Family and Friends call our backyard "The Natural Zoo!" They all eat side by side with no threat to one another. At night, I leave apples and bread for the Raccoons, Bunnies and Foxes. Yes, we have seen the bunny and the raccoon eating side by side, and the fox and raccoon eating side by side. It is all so amazing! We live outside of Philadelphia, PA in Media. Well you take care, and I wish You, your Family and your beautiful new baby continued joy, discovery and dreams come true! Lorrie Celotto-Cellini

Hi Lorrie,
Thank you for your message. That's amazing you've seen the bunny and raccoon and fox and raccoon eating together. I wish I had bunnies and skunks. Do you have your own blog?

Jayla
